Courage is when faith moves us. When faith is employed, it propels us; courage calls us to act. May we each be empowered by faith to step into courage.
“Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand.” Ephesians 6:13
A Prayer for Each Reader in an Ordinary Place
Lord, You see each person reading this. Thank You for making and loving them. When life gets harad and they've done all they know to do, may they choose to stand. May they each draw from courage so that they remain planted. May you grow their roots deep and sustain them. For the moments life looks insignificant, may You give them courage to stay. When in the most mundane of places, may they find the courage to cultivate wildflowers in the ordinary places. Lord, I pray you make them as couragous as wildflowers, unapologetically willing to make the places around them beautiful. Amen.
